I am loving Family Guy at the moment. I haven't watched it for while so it's pure gold at the moment. I'm buying the Season 6 DVD as soon as I find it. (I haven't been retail shopping for a while) Then I'll get the Star Wars spoof. Joy!

I've waited 8 years for this moment

I'm so excited. Isobelle Carmody has finally written the next chronicle! (It was realesed at the start of Feb, but no one told me!)

Here is the first tow paragraphs of Part 1:

"It ought to have felt momentous, going through the pass and seeing the highlandsspread out in the pink-gold morning light, momentous because, for the first time, Iwas riding down to a Land that was free, and where I need not hide who or what I was.Yet it was impossible to feel complacent or even secure because soon, for the first time,Landfolk would vote for their leaders, who might undo all that the rebels had achieved since theCouncil had been overthrown. And where would that leave Misfits like me? The hatred andprejudice against us, which the Council and Herder Faction had encouraged, had not ended withtheir reign. The wrong leader could easily fan the flames of resentment and unease into a fire that might yet consume us. But as the rebel leader Dardelan had so often said, there could be nofreedom if people were not able to choose their own leaders."

I brought it at K-Mart tuesday night when I was picking up my yoga mat. And only got three pages in before I fell asleep (I'm so exhusted these days). And the book is quite thick. It could kill some one if it is drop from a great height. But then dropping anything from a great height could kill someone, but you get the idea.

The interesting part is that this book isn' the last of the chronicles like she intended. There is still a final one to be realesed. "The Sending". It this great!!!!!

Feelin' the Fear

I'm going through a sad spot. But this book is helping me so much. It doesn't take the pain away but it helps me feel better. I'm facing my fears and I know I can handle them. I highly recommend it to every living person who gets scared, even just a little, about the future.
